Linux egrep command syntax
Function: egrep command is used to find the specified string in the file.
Syntax: egrep [Template mode] [File or directory]
Linux egrep command example
Display qualified characters in the file. For example, to find files containing the string "Linux" in all files in the current directory, you can use the following command:
egrep Linux *
The results are as follows:
