Ryan Levering from Google commented, “There are still several event-rich features that utilize events data. Only rich snippets were deactivated in that specific update AFAIR.”
Why it matters. If your website hosts events and benefits from traffic via event rich results, you might experience a reduction in that traffic going forward. It remains unclear precisely which event rich result was discontinued on March 4th, as some event rich results started disappearing around October 2023.
