The Legend of Zelda: Guide to the location of the Iga stronghold in the Kingdom Tears

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the Iga continues to threaten Hylaru from their secret strongholds and hidden bases. But with a little skill, even the most hidden places can be discovered!

However, this Sheka Ninja family is also very different from their previous image. Deep in the Kingdom Tears, there are a lot of IGA matters to be dealt with – but on the ground of Hylaru, there are also a series of IGA stronghold bases that you need to dive into to unlock some great new rewards.

Once known as the Ancient Science and Technology Laboratory and also the place where Link often visited in Breath of the Wild, the Iga people have now taken over this place - Robbie in the Lookout and later the village of Hartno.

If you haven't played Breath of the Wild, or have a blurry memory, it's in the upper right corner of the Hylaru map. The nearest tower is the Ulri Mountain Watchtower in the Akara Heights.

This base is not entirely secret – when you go up the hill from the nearby East Akara stables you will find some monsters and soon you will see signs of the Iga existence in the area.

Walking to the lab, knocking on the door, and starting to fight several Iga tribes. Once they are defeated, you can go inside to release the captives and gain a portion of the Iga uniform that you will need later.

Iga Base #2 - The King's Thatched House

Breath of the Wild players will remember this place as a very important location at the beginning of the game – meaning it is on the Great Plateau. It was a huge highland, surrounded by a wall, located to the left of the southern edge of the Hylaru Plain.

To the south of the Temple of Time, under the shadow of the nearby snow-capped Helia, there is a scattered forest area—on this area, there is a cottage where the mysterious old man lived at the opening of "Breath of the Wild". In "Tears of the Kingdom", it has been taken over by the Iga tribe.

The same rules apply; knock on the door and start fighting. Defeat the Iga soldiers, then enter the interior to obtain another Iga armor and perform another rescue.

Iga Base #3 - Hidden place on the hillside

This third and last satellite, Iga base, is harder to find, partly because it is not located in the main landmark in the previous game.

The easiest way to find it is to look directly north of Hylaru Castle, to Hylaru Grand Forest and Coke Forest. The forest is surrounded by water and the base is located on land on the left side of the forest moat, about one-third of the forest.

On the map, it is very close to the text marking the Aldo foothills—the Aldo foothills itself is right north of the Elma hills, where there is a narrow crack leading to the depths. It is also located right east of the Kiyu Temple in the Rowan Plain.

The base is built on the hillside and marked with the same statues you always see around the base of Iga.

Inside this base, the situation is a little more complicated. There are some rooms that need to be cleaned, and some IGAs need to fight, but you won't find any costume parts, and no one needs to be rescued. But - look up! There is a secret room above the main area of ??the base. You can rise here, even make a fire and use your paraglider, do your last rescue and get the last piece of the Iga armor set.

How to sneak into the Iga base in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The reason you complete the above three strongholds is to collect these garment parts so that you can have a complete Iga uniform as an equipable garment. Equipped with Iga masks, armor and leggings, you should head to the main Iga base – it is located at the foot of the Grud Heights Mountains, just east of the Grud Heights Watch Tower.

Similarly, Breath of the Wild players should remember where this is – if you complete the Iga side quest for the game, that's the end result.

If you get close to the base without equipment, they will attack you and block the base. If you get close in clothing, you can enter the base. Stay uniform or you will be found!

This time, the base is more like a reward—the main Iga storyline in "Tears of Kingdoms" involves the abandoned mines deep in the distance. However, within the base you will find several useful stores, some great ideas for building superhand weapons and vehicles, as well as a new mini game.

Mini games are the main reason to come here. In the game, you have to fight the Iga soldiers – and defeat as many soldiers as possible in 1 minute. There are rewards for defeating 3, 6 and 9 soldiers in a game. Each participation costs Rs 100.

Defeat 3 IGA soldiers in one minute and you will get IGA fabric design that can be applied to your paragliding. Defeat 6 Iga soldiers and you will unlock the earthquake skill, which is a special combat skill used by Iga swordsmen in combat. If you defeat 9 IGA soldiers, you will get a helmet against lightning.

Helmets and earthquake skills are very useful – and also your main reward for completing this quest line. Get them and leave the base quickly.
