With the release of the 7.2 patch, Final Fantasy XIV: Path of Dawn has made a lot of changes and added content. The new series dungeon that everyone has been looking forward to is launched, but daily players have more content to experience, including new mounts, pets, and of course, emoticons. While most expressions are new, Square Enix has also improved some of the old expressions to make them easier to use.
What is learning expression?
The “l(fā)earning” emoticon is an improved version of the “reading” emoticon. The "reading" emoji was first released in the Final Fantasy XIV: Shadow's Anti-Flame expansion, but one of the biggest complaints from players is that it cannot be played looped. After using the emoticon, it will stop in a few seconds. This is not an ideal expression for players who like to hang out or role-play: they must be reactivated repeatedly.
Thankfully, Square Enix finally realized this and made the “read” emoticon in the form of a separate emoticon into a loopable version.
How to get learning expressions
You need to visit "Floating City". This requires the player to complete the "Forbidden City of the Sky" expansion pack (specifically, the "Anthem of Peace" mission). At this point, you can start the side quest of "To Floating City" at the base (x9.6 Y: 11.5) . This will open a series of tasks until you can hand over the various items you make to your local collector appraiser Portkin .
During the Shadow's Counter Flame expansion, the "Floating City" is a prosperous place for craftsmen and collectors, competing with each other for their respective professional skills. Unfortunately, "Floating City" was officially completed after several updates, so these rankings and special titles are no longer available.
Fortunately, the items are still available. Submitting the collection not only allows you to get the seal of the Kubo coupon, but also the Sky Builders documents , which can be exchanged for various items with Eni. This includes mounts, pets, hairstyles, music, and expressions you might have guessed. The "learning" and "reading" expressions can be purchased in the " Dance Hall Etiquette - Impression of Wisdom " manual.
You just need to save enough papers, redeem them for illustration manuals, and use it to get the emoticons that can now be played. Alternatively, you can get it in a random celebration that takes place in Floating City.
