The next big Fields of Mistria update is scheduled to arrive on July 21, 2025, marking the third major enhancement since the game launched in Early Access. This update will introduce a new dating system, expanded heart and skill levels, additional events and missions, improved quality of life features, and more. While the developers shared a detailed roadmap on social media, here are some of the most exciting highlights you can expect.

Start Building Relationships With Your Favorite Villagers

This update has something for everyone, especially fans who have been eagerly waiting since the start of Early Access. One of the biggest changes is how players interact with NPC villagers. Those who already maxed out their hearts will now get the chance to form even deeper connections. The update also brings eight all-new heart events—special scenarios that reveal more about each villager's background and personality.

The highly anticipated dating mechanic is finally here. If you’ve had your eye on any particular villagers, you’ll now be able to take them on dates. While romantic dialogue and interactions were always present, actually asking someone out wasn’t possible before this update.

And if you’d rather build strong friendships without romance, you can now choose the Best Friend path with your favorite characters.

For those who've already reached Renown Level 90, don’t worry—the cap will rise with this update, giving you access to even more valuable rewards.

Enhanced Skills and Increased Storage Space

Reviving Mistria just got smoother thanks to increased skill levels and new perks. Farming, fishing, foraging, and exploring will feel more fluid and enjoyable than ever. Of course, as your abilities grow, so will your collections—which means storage might become an issue. To help with that, the update includes larger chests and a convenient auto-deposit function that lets you quickly add items to existing stacks with one click.

In addition to these updates, Fields of Mistria players can look forward to other additions like new monsters, Sunday Market vendors, extra cosmetic options, a special festival event, and a greenhouse to help cultivate your crops.
