How to locate Gerudo Town in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Finding Gerudo Town requires some clever navigation since the area is buried under a massive sandstorm. This storm disables your Purah Pad, leaving you without a map or any pins—just static on the screen. The coordinates for the Skyview Tower are -2432, -2178, 0307.
Begin at the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, which we've marked on the map below.
From there, place a pin slightly south of the Regional Phenomena using your Purah Pad, as Gerudo Town lies in that direction.
Next, set another pin—this time marking the location of Kara Kara Bazaar. Its coordinates are -3267, -2550, 0023, and we’ve circled it for you on the map below.
Once you arrive at the Bazaar, activate the Mayatat Shrine to create a Fast Travel point that will help later on.
Near the tents close to the Shrine, you’ll find a cooking pot and an updraft where a few NPCs are gathered. Use your paraglider to catch the updraft.
This updraft will lift you above the storm for a short time, allowing your Purah Pad to function again. Quickly confirm that you’re facing the same direction as your last pin. Then, once you descend back into the storm while still aligned with your target, keep moving forward in a straight line.
Watch out for Gibdos during your journey—they're resistant to melee attacks initially. Use elemental attacks like Flame Fruit arrows to weaken them before striking with your sword.
If you encounter a Desert Rift, you can glide across it or go around. Either way, keep an eye out for updrafts to recalibrate your position.
Even though the storm blocks most of your Purah Pad's functions, your coordinates still work. Gerudo Town’s exact coordinates are -3820, -2898, 0044.
Here’s the location of Gerudo Town on a map—but note that this only appears after you discover it yourself.
How to enter Gerudo Town in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To enter Gerudo Town, you must find a secret underground entrance hidden inside a Well.
At first glance, the town seems abandoned, but in reality, its people have moved underground. To access the shelter, approach the main building in the central square (the one with a Shrine on top). Just beneath the main entrance, you'll see torches and stairs leading downward.
Go down those steps and speak with Reeza, who will inform you that Voes aren't allowed entry. But don’t worry—there's another way in.
Return outside and face the main building again. Look to your left and you should spot some cooking pots and an opening beside them—this is the Well.
Jump into the Well and follow the path to its end. Walk against the current of the water flow, and feel free to pick up and read any floating letters in bottles along the way.
At the very end of the Well, you’ll find a jug tied to a string. Look up from here and use the Ascend ability to pass through the floor and emerge directly into the sheltered part of Gerudo Town.
