


Pokémon GO Serene Retreat Collection Challenges and rewards
Jun 17, 2025 am 10:20 AMSerene Retreat is the worldwide Pokémon Go event tied to Go Fest 2025: Osaka, so even if you're unable to attend the live event, you can still enjoy all the activities!
During this Pokémon Go event, players can complete the Serene Retreat Collection Challenges, and challenge the newly introduced Gigantamax Rillaboom in Max Battles. Don’t forget to finish some of the Serene Retreat research tasks as well.
There are also various Serene Retreat bonuses available, such as a reduced hatch distance for eggs.

Dream Catcher Serene Retreat Collection Challenge list
The Dream Catcher Collection Challenge will be active in Pokémon Go until Tuesday 3rd June at 8pm (local time). You need to complete this challenge before the event ends to obtain its reward.
Here's a full list of the Pokémon involved in the Dream Catcher Collection Challenge and how to catch them:
- Morelull - Encounter in the wild or via an event-exclusive research task ('Catch 10 Pokémon', 'Catch 5 different species of Pokémon' or 'Spin 5 PokéStops or Gyms')
- Hatenna - Found in the wild or through seasonal research task ('Catch 7 different species of Pokémon)
- Komala - Encountered in the wild
- Snorlax - Found in the wild
Reward: One Incubator.
Cutie Collector Serene Retreat Collection Challenge list
The Cutie Collector Collection Challenge runs in Pokémon Go until Tuesday 3rd June at 8pm (local time). Be sure to finish it before this cutoff to earn your rewards!
Below are the Pokémon included in the Cutie Collector Collection Challenge and how to find them:
- Cutiefly - Encounter in the wild or via an event-exclusive research task ('Catch 10 Pokémon')
- Marill - Found in the wild
- Chansey - Encountered in the wild
- Chimecho - Found in the wild
Rewards: 2,500 XP and a Munna encounter.
Floating Wonders Serene Retreat Collection Challenge list
The Floating Wonders Collection Challenge is running in Pokémon Go until Tuesday 3rd June at 8pm (local time). To receive the rewards, make sure to complete this challenge before the deadline.
Note that only Pokémon hatched from eggs count toward completing this challenge. Any other method of obtaining these Pokémon will not contribute to the progress.
Here’s the list of Pokémon in the Floating Wonders Collection Challenge and where to get them:
- Munna - Hatched from event-exclusive 2km eggs
- Chingling - Hatched from event-exclusive 2km eggs
- Swirlix - Hatched from event-exclusive 2km eggs
- Spritzee - Hatched from event-exclusive 2km eggs
Rewards: 2,500 Stardust and a Morelull encounter.
Serene Retreat field research tasks in Pokémon Go
These are the Serene Retreat field research tasks currently available in Pokémon Go:
- Catch 10 Pokémon reward - Encounter Cutiefly, Morelull, Komala or Hatenna
- Catch 5 different species of Pokémon reward - Morelull encounter
- Hatch an Egg reward - Munna encounter

Serene Retreat will remain active until Tuesday 3rd June at 8pm (local time) in Pokémon Go. Here’s everything else you should know about the event:
Serene Retreat Bonuses
- Hatch distance halved for eggs placed into Incubators during event hours
- x1.5 Hatch XP
- Max Particle collection cap raised to 1,600
- x8 Max Particles gathered from Power Spots
- Higher chance of hatching shiny Munna or encountering one via research tasks
- Increased likelihood of encountering shiny Morelull or finding it via research tasks
Purchasing the Serene Retreat unlocks an extra x1.5 Hatch Stardust bonus.
Gigantamax Rillaboom debut
Gigantamax Rillaboom makes its first appearance during Serene Retreat! You’ll be able to battle this powerful form in Max Battles from Saturday 31st May at 6am (local time) to Sunday 1st June at 9pm (local time).
