Where to find Sticky Frogs in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you'll often spot Sticky Frogs near Lanayru Great Springs and West Necluda. These are large regions, so we’ve pinpointed some better spots for catching them.

So far, the following locations have proven to be the best places to catch Sticky Frogs:

• Upland Zorana Skyview Tower (2841, 0580, 0376) - Sticky Frogs are commonly found on the rocks near the entrance of this tower.
• Kakariko Village West Entrance (1751, -1100, 0127) - We've seen several Sticky Frogs along the walls leading into Kakariko Village from this side.
• Kakariko Village East Entrance (1962, -1070, 0131) - Similar to the west entrance, we've also found Sticky Frogs lining the path here.
• Outskirt Stable Well (-1459, -1295, 0033) - This well is home to a few Sticky Frogs and even some Fairies.
• Goponga Village Ruins Well (Lanayru Wetlands) (1530, -0327, 0011) - There are also a few Sticky Frogs hiding out in this well.

Once you spot a Frog, your next task is to catch it. Much like other creatures in Hyrule, Sticky Frogs will flee if startled. To avoid that, approach stealthily (use a stealth-enhancing elixir or wear Yiga Armor) or move quickly (Hasty Elixir can help).

Alternatively, if those methods don't suit you, simply shoot the Frog with an arrow and collect it once it falls to the ground.

Where to buy Sticky Frogs in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

So far, we’ve only found Sticky Frogs available for purchase at Lakeside Stable from Beedle. Each one costs 40 Rupees. We recommend buying them only if you're having trouble finding them in the wild.

How to use Sticky Frogs in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Sticky Frogs can be cooked with any monster part, such as a Bokoblin Horn or Lizalfos Horn, to create a Sticky Elixir. This potion grants Link increased grip when climbing slippery terrain.

This Elixir is especially helpful when exploring areas like Ploymus Mountain Cave, Lanayru Wetlands, or anywhere else with slick climbing surfaces. It doesn’t completely prevent slipping, though—best results come from climbing carefully rather than rushing or jumping.
