Where to find Hoz in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can find Captain Hoz at the top of the gatehouse for Hyrule Castle. Here's how to locate him step by step:

The first objective in the Crisis at Hyrule Castle main quest is to meet Hoz, the captain leading the search party for Princess Zelda. He’s stationed at Hyrule Castle, so leave Lookout Landing and make your way through the ruins of Hyrule Castle Town until you arrive at the castle gates.

As you travel, you may pick up extra weapons and optionally complete the Kyononis Shrine challenge.

Upon reaching the castle gates, you'll notice they’re too large to open manually. Instead, jump off the side of the walkway near the gates and go around them.

Once past the gates, speak with Raseno who will inform you that Hoz is located at the first gatehouse. Simply follow the path ahead until you reach the structure.

Arriving at the gatehouse, enter inside and climb one of the walls to reach the first balcony. From there, continue scaling the outer walls until you reach the next level where you’ll find Hoz waiting.

Climb upward to reach Hoz. Once there, talk to him and watch the cutscene unfold.
