Wearing one piece of the set will offer some heat resistance, but it won’t be enough to fully protect you from the intense sun in Gerudo; wearing at least two pieces is recommended, though having all three is ideal.

Once you've equipped the full Desert Voe set and upgraded it sufficiently at a Great Fairy Fountain, you’ll gain an additional benefit—shock resistance. Very handy! Now, let’s track down each piece of the Desert Voe armor.

As you travel into the Gerudo Canyon after being questioned by a Gerudo NPC, you’ll start moving through the sand shroud. Soon, you’ll arrive at the Kara Kara Bazaar, which is shown on the map below, along with the Mayatat Shrine nearby.

There are several tents here selling various items, but you need to go to the tent that sells armor. Speak with the vendor there, and they’ll sell you the Desert Voe headband for 450 Rupees, then mention something about a hidden shop near Fashion Passion in Gerudo Town.

Proceed further into Gerudo, leaving the Kara Kara Bazaar behind and continuing through the sand shroud until you reach Gerudo Town. Gerudo Town also contains the Soryotanog Shrine, which you should activate for fast travel!

Before continuing, ensure you have at least 1950 Rupees saved up, as you’ll need them to buy the remaining parts of the Desert Voe armor set.

Upon entering Gerudo Town, look to your left. That’s where Fashion Passion is located, although access inside is limited—but we can work around that. Climb up the wall of the store and look toward the waterfall on the left side of the shop.

Underneath this small waterfall, pictured above, is an opening in the ground. Jump inside, landing in shallow water. Fortunately, Link can walk through it without difficulty.

A short distance ahead, you’ll notice a destructible rock on your left. Use a hammer weapon, Bomb Fruit, or Yunobo’s charge ability to break it, then proceed forward. The path ahead is straightforward but filled with more rocks that must be destroyed, so keep breaking through.

Eventually, you’ll come across a left turn that isn’t blocked, with a waterfall ahead. Avoid going through this passage, as it leads back to where you began.

Instead of taking that route, turn around and face the pillars next to the opening. Position yourself between the pillars and use Ascend, as illustrated below.

After ascending, you’ll emerge inside Fashion Passion, which was secretly accessible all along.

You’ll then be able to purchase the Desert Voe spaulder for 1300 Rupees and the Desert Voe trousers for 650 Rupees. It’s quite an investment, but it’s worth it for surviving the harsh desert conditions.

At the back of the shop, there’s also a door blocked by a crate, which you can later clear to allow easier entry and exit.
