How To Locate The Enchanted Sword Pal

As its name suggests, the Enchanted Sword is literally a sword that appears in only one place — and that’s inside the Terraria Dungeon.

This dungeon is located within the Sealed Realm of Terraria Isle, which lies southeast of the Mount Obsidian region.

Once you arrive on the island, enter the portal to be transported into this uniquely styled dungeon.

From there, proceed into the next open chamber and then head left down the path. Once you reach another open room, turn right and you'll soon see a wooden house and a small pool of water.

Move forward past the structure and continue along the path heading to the left until you come across a ledge that you can safely jump down from.

After landing, follow the main corridor ahead, and from this point onward, you should start noticing some floating swords. These are the Enchanted Swords that you can capture, behaving like a Pal, but in a slightly different manner.

Be sure to reduce their health as much as possible to make capturing them easier.

It's important to note that the Enchanted Sword isn't a typical Pal — instead, think of it more like a weapon than a companion. Although it does have level 1 Lumbering, placing it at your base won’t serve much practical purpose unless you enjoy having a floating blade hovering around.

It makes for a solid battlefield ally, equipped with two skills: the partner skill, Enhanced, causes Dark Pals to drop additional loot when defeated, while its action skill, Sword Charge, sends the weapon surging forward to perform a piercing attack.

The benefit of using the Enchanted Sword is that it serves well as a combat support tool, though it can still be destroyed during battles. If that happens, you can simply capture another one or return it to a base box to restore its condition.

Like all other Terraria-themed Pals, the Enchanted Sword does not appear in the Palpedia.
