Whoops! Samsung just accidentally shared some key Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 specs
Jul 07, 2025 am 12:12 AM- Samsung has accidentally revealed storage and RAM amounts for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Z Flip 7 FE
- The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will seemingly come with more RAM than its predecessor in the top configuration
- A leak has also shown off some Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 cases, some of which have magnets
Despite Samsung’s best efforts to prevent them, phone leaks are unavoidable, but usually, they're caused by leakers intentionally leaking information rather than the company unintentionally doing so.
In the case of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, however, there have now been two accidental leaks from Samsung itself.
The first was the appearance of some color options on Samsung’s Irish website, and now leaker Roland Quandt discovered a terms and conditions document on a Turkish Samsung site, which lists RAM sizes and storage capacities for these upcoming phones.
According to the document, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 offers 12GB of RAM combined with either 256GB or 512GB of storage, along with a 16GB RAM version that comes with 1TB of storage. These storage options remain unchanged from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, but all variants of the previous model only offer 12GB of RAM, meaning the top-tier Z Fold 7 will offer an increase in RAM.
The Flip 7 and the Flip 7 FE
Moving on, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is listed as offering 12GB of RAM with either 256GB or 512GB of storage. These are identical specs to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Additionally, specs for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE are included here, listing it as having 8GB of RAM and being available with either 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Since this data originates directly from a Samsung website, it's almost certainly accurate, though we can’t be completely sure until Samsung officially reveals the details on July 9 – and it's possible that certain regions may receive different configurations.
Magnetic charging might require a case
In any event, leaked case renders for both the Galaxy Z Flip 7 (shared by Android Headlines) and Galaxy Z Fold 7 (shared by NieuweMobiel) have now surfaced.
They don't reveal much about the phones themselves that we haven’t already seen or heard before, but it's worth noting that several of the cases feature magnets, suggesting that both phones are likely to support magnetic charging similar to the Samsung Galaxy S25 series.
Specifically, users should likely be able to attach chargers and other accessories magnetically, similar to Apple’s MagSafe system, although the magnets won’t be integrated into the phones themselves, requiring a magnetic case to enable such functionality. If true, that would be somewhat underwhelming but not unexpected.
Samsung is set to officially announce all of these devices at the next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, so we’ll soon know exactly what they offer.
