Dates You May Miss
Inside Date Everything, the attic is home to a variety of intriguing characters, including a dominatrix safe and an eccentric assortment of board games that are quite talkative. The main issue is that it's off-limits because Dorian won't allow entry. To gain access, you need to locate a special key (who also happens to be a character) to unlock the attic door.
Where to Find the Attic Key
To find the attic key in Date Everything, go to your office and open the back door located in the left corner, near the whiteboard. You'll come across a white rug next to the water heater. Her name is Winnifred, and she has some interesting tales of her own. Focus on the task at hand by interacting with the rug (using the cross button on the PS5's Dualsense controller, for example). This action will reveal a trap door beneath the rug. Open it, and if possible, interact with Dorian while he's distracted—it can lead to some amusing moments. Proceed down the ladder into the hidden room below. You've now entered the Crawlspace.
On the right side, close to a time capsule lying on the floor, you'll discover a silver key. Interact with your Dateviators to encounter Keith, who's thrilled to finally escape this confined space. You’ll learn the reason behind his imprisonment in the Crawlspace. Importantly, Keith is a Skeleton Key capable of unlocking nearly any door in the house. Following the interaction, a cutscene will show the key moving into your pocket.

Now that you have the key, head upstairs to the second floor and engage with Dorian once again near the locked door. It turns out Keith and Dorian share some history. After their exchange, the door is unlocked! You're now free to converse with characters like Sophia the Safe, Prissy Plastique, the artificial plant, and Artt, a sculpture represented by a frame on the rear wall. Prepare yourself for plenty of entertainment.
Here's a suggestion: Always address Sophia as "mistress" since she appreciates it. Becoming at least friends with her helps encourage her to open up and introduce yet another character.
How to Fix Relationships in Date Everything
Keith does more than just unlock doors in Date Everything; he can assist in repairing relationships too. If you keep chatting with the skeleton key, he’ll provide you with candy. This candy can be used during conversations to ease tensions. It has the potential to transform a hostile relationship into friendship or even serve as a reset, giving you another chance to interact later. However, you only receive one piece of candy per S.P.E.C. point category.

Some dateable characters are easy to overlook. One particularly elusive one is Doug. He embodies existential dread within the house, possessing a ripped physique and an oddly rounded head. Notably, he lacks both ears and a mouth. The narrator humorously refers to him as a "bleached bowling ball." To locate Doug, visit the dinner table where Scandalabra resides and look toward the wall beneath the staircase while using your Dateviators. After a short wait, Doug should appear.
