How to Complete the Comfort of Nature Quests
The Sims 4 has updated its Nature's Calling event to the second week of quests, but if you haven't completed the first week's quests, you'll need to finish them before you're able to continue into the Enigma of the Cove and the Comfort of Nature sets of quests that make up the list for week 2.
Between Enigma of the Cove and Comfort of Nature, you have a total of 10 tasks to complete this week. Overall, they don't take that much time. The biggest issue you might run into is money depending on your Sims' financial situation and possibly unhappy Sims, since their needs have a tendency to deplete while you have them running around to complete tasks.
How to Complete the Enigma of the Cove Quests
The first set of quests for week two is the Enigma of the Cove set. This set includes six main quests and one optional quest, but if you want to complete the optional quest, you need to do it before you finish all the main quests. Otherwise, it'll be cleared when you move onto the next quest set, meaning that you can no longer complete it. Here are all the quests and how to complete them.
Event Task | How to Complete |
---|---|
Spend Time Outdoors | You need to spend a total of 2 hours outside. The best way to do this is to **have your Sim visit a park or go finishing**, which should keep them occupied long enough to stay outside for the full duration. You can check how long is left with the gray moodlet your Sim will have. |
Travel to Foundry Cove | Time to open your Sim's smartphone and go into the Travel option. Only one Sim in your household has to travel for this task. Pick **Willow Creek as the world and pick one of the residential lots on the bottom right side of the world**, which you'll see is the Foundry Cove neighborhood. |
Visit the Mysterious Tree | You want to get this task to pop up **while you're in Foundry Cove**, because that's where the Mysterious Tree is. Follow the river until you spot a tree by it that looks different with a twisted trunk and a rather magical appearance. Have your Sim go look at it. |
Dig up Rocks | Look around Foundry Cove for some rocks and find one you can interact with, then choose "Dig." |
Buy a Telescope on a Residential Lot | Find a telescope in Buy Mode and place it on your household's lot. |
Use the Telescope to Look for Signs | Select the telescope you just bought and **select "Look for Signs."** |
Adopt a Dog (Bonus) | If you have the Cats and Dogs pack, then you can use your smartphone to Adopt a Pet. Select a dog to join your family. |
How to Complete the Comfort of Nature Quests
Right after the Enigma of the Cove quests, you can move onto the Comfort of Nature quests. These might take a little longer to complete simply because of the tasks, but you have four main tasks and one bonus task in this set. You need to have the Reclaimed Woodworking Table, Reclaimed Wood Dining Chairs Recipe, and the Flowing Fronds Swimwear for these tasks, so that can impact the order in which you complete them, since those are all event rewards.
Event Task | How to Complete |
---|---|
Buy a Hot Tub on your Residential Lot | Open up Buy Mode and find a Hot Tub. It doesn't matter which one you use, so pick what you have available and place it on your household's lot. |
Soak in the Hot Tub with the Flowing Fronds Swimwear | Once you have the Flowing Fronds Swimwear unlocked, use a dresser to plan your Sim's outfits and set it as their swimwear option. Then, select the Hot Tub and soak in it. |
Craft Two Reclaimed Wood Dining Chairs | Find the Reclaimed Woodworking Table that you got as your first event reward in Buy Mode and place it. Then, select the table, pick "Craft Furniture...," and pick Reclaimed Wood Dining Chair. Repeat those steps to make a second chair. |
Complete a Level of any Nature Aspiration | Open your Aspiration menu and change your Aspiration to any of the options under the Nature tab. Complete the first tasks associated with your choice. |
Buy a Tent | Find a tent in Buy Mode and place it on your household's lot. |
With that, you should have the quests for week 2 of Nature's Calling completed, and you can play around with your rewards until the next set of quests are available in The Sims 4.
